Summer is off to a great start here at Alpha Farm. We celebrated the summer solstice with a bonfire, smores, and a full moon.
We celebrated our 53rd annual 4th of July event, hosting the greater community of Deadwood and kickstarting our fundraiser for a new mail car.
We recently welcomed a new intern in June, which brings our total number of members and interns to 12.
Our garden is finally producing! And with that, we have been fulfilling CSA orders to our surrounding community.
We attended Oregon Country Fair and Shady Rest, meeting up with folks from Peaceful Valley Village, a forming community.
Our two goats, Blossom and Moose, keep us entertained. Along with our many chickens that keep hatching hidden clutches! One of our female ducks went missing, we are hoping she returns in a few weeks with some babies.
We are enjoying the beautiful summer days and projects that can be completed without the constant drizzle of rain that the fall brings.
We are hosting a D&D themed fundraiser on August 30th in Eugene at Maddison 255 in hopes of raising funds for a new, reliable, safe, and gas-efficient mail car.
We are hoping to get our new website live in the coming month! Stay tuned for more.
